Landscape

The Orchid in the Grike is set in the Burren in South Galway, North Clare. The Burren is a moon-like expanse of glaciated limestone karst that skirts the Atlantic Coastline. There is a staggering contrast between the harsh grey karst and the abundance of wildflowers in the region.
